Dr. Jaclyn Marie Ferro grew up in South Florida as a competitive figure skater.

She obtained a bachelor degree from Florida International University and then graduated from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine where she discovered her passion and her calling for women’s health.

Dr. Ferro completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Downstate University and Kings County hospital in Brooklyn, NY where she was awarded the position of Administrative Chief Resident. During her residency training she was also recognized for her excellence in patient care, laparoscopic skills and operative technique by receiving The Alvin M. Siegler, MD Scholarship Award. Dr. Ferro is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

Dr. Ferro exudes passion for women’s health and seeks to provide the same care to her patients that she desires her own family to receive. She is adamant on patient education and is determined that each patient understands every aspect of their health care. She specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology which focus on, but limited to, fibroids, ovarian cyst, menstrual irregularities, cervical dysplasia, menopausal symptoms, sexual transmitted diseases and prenatal care. She has a special interest in performing Laparoscopy and Robotic Minimal Invasive Surgery. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and dancing.

Dr. Ferro is bilingual in English and Spanish. Dr. Jaclyn Marie Ferro is ecstatic to be back home in South Florida and to join the Miami Center of Excellence for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
